44th National Gasshuku March 2014

This year Aikido Shinryukan New Zealand celebrated their 44th Anniversary with guest instructors Shihan Toshiharu Sawada 7th Dan & Shihan Nobuo Takase 7th Dan. Participants attended the Gasshuku from Singapore, Australia, New Caledonia and New Zealand.

During the seminar everyone enjoyed the pace in which the Shihan were teaching the fun atmosphere and the friendly interaction between people training together.

Numerous basic principals of Aikido were demonstrated throughout each lesson with the opportunity given to all to thoroughly practice each principal in a manner that best physically suited the individual. This allowed people of all levels of experience to solidly focus on their own technique in the aim to understand more clearly and to improve.

Everyone that attended had a fantastic time while catching up with old acquaintances and making many new friends throughout the four day seminar. To view the photos of the 44th Anniversary Aikido Shinryukan International Gasshuku click here. Photography by Shonya Singh
